Established over 30 years ago, Mail Call is a complete business service center that offers mailbox rentals, worldwide mail forwarding, packing and shipping services, faxing, copying, postage stamp sales, business cards & stationary and rubber stamps.

What is the advantage of a Mail Call address over the post office?
Speed, efficiency and the capability of receiving courier parcels. At Mail Call, your first class mail is usually in your box by 11:00AM each day, unlike some late afternoon deliveries by the post office. Also, couriers like FedEx and UPS won’t deliver to PO boxes, but they will deliver to our street address.

What’s the advantage of Mail Call over other private postal services?
Longevity and personal service. Mail Call has been in business since 1980. Established as the first private postal box mail service in San Diego, Mail Call is not a franchise; we’re ready to help you and to send you what you request. A real person answers the phone, not a teleprompt.

What about mail forwarding and mail holding?
Mail Call understands the cruising and professional sailing community, and that’s why we make it easy for you. Just contact us by phone, fax, letter or e-mail and we will follow your mail forwarding instructions, as frequently as you’d like to wherever you may be in the world.

How do I open a mailbox with Mail Call?
Initially, there is a required Mail Call rental agreement to fill out, and form 1583, Application for Delivery of Mail Through Agent, necessary for the USPS. Two forms of identification are also necessary.

How do I close my mailbox with Mail Call?
Unlike the U.S. Postal Service, we have a different procedure as a private service. Please see our “Leaving Mail Call” page for more information.
